She strikes up a friendship with Vicktor Rossen's overtly gay personal assistant, Daveed. They see each other every week; he shows her a side of Hollywood she had never even dreamed of and when Vicktor Rossen crosses Annie, her friend Daveed is there to make sure she gets her revenge.
