Roy's dad took off a couple years ago, abandoning him with his step mom, Sheila, and leaving both of them high and dry. The last couple years have been a lot of sacrifice and struggle but Roy and his mom have stuck together through it. Now things are finally turning around. This is the second book in a series I'm calling the Dirty Birds Series. It's part of the TABOO TALES series but it also goes with two other, Thanksgiving themed, books I'm putting out. The first was Home for the Holiday and the other is Gobble Gobble. This one was an experiment in writing in first person narrative since I normally write in third but I'm really happy with it and I may do some more of it the future. I had fun writing it so I hope you enjoy the crap out of it.
