Joseph Reaper has always been a good soldier...until he lost his mind, but now they are giving him a chance to rebuild his career, and maybe even his life. All they want is for him to turn a unique group of powerful people into a fully functioning military squad. When Joseph first heard about the job he thought they'd be a group of hardcore soldiers with years of black-ops experience. He thought it would be business as usual, but he was very wrong.


Instead of a bunch of badass men with experience in black-ops he's been put in charge of a bunch of women with no military training, and no concept of team. There's Janine, the very frisky ghost nun, who keeps finding ways to get into his pants. Danika, the lonely lesbian werewolf, who just wants to find love. A goth witch named Katy, and God help you if you ever call her cute. Then there's Penny. She's beautiful, and makes Joseph's heart race every time he looks at her. Of course she's also a 300 year old psychotic vampire with a video game addiction, a thirst for blood, and more than a few issues.


As if that wasn't enough there is Alhambra. She's a Jinn, and more importantly she's the very person that drove Joseph insane in the first place, but the fact he's the only person that ever survived her particular form of fun and games is what made him the perfect man for the job.

Vampires, werewolves, witches, ghosts, and jinn don't exist. At least that's what we've all believed. So most men finding out that everything that ever went bump in the night is real would probably cause them to have a nervous breakdown. For Joseph it's just another day at the office. For him to get his life back he'll have to get these women to come together as a group, and luckily he has help. There is Elizabeth Mann, the director of the project. She's an ice cold bitch with the heart of a party girl. There's also Doctor Gina Nowitski. She's in charge of everyone's medical health, and she's in charge of the clones the team uses as training dummies. Finally there's DD. She's the chubby but sweet woman in charge of maintaining all the tech on site. She also handles all the clone upgrades. It's a high stress job, and unfortunately for her she's a bit of a mood eater.


It's a daunting task, but Joseph's determined to build this team even if it kills him...and it might.
